Central Kids Ministries (ages 0-12)
Central Kids Ministries is an exciting thing to be a part of! Check out this video to hear about why we love to serve kids and their families, and read below to learn what you need to know about our Sunday morning gatherings.
This site offers a wide range of programming for children ages 0-12. Our Sunday morning ministries feature Nursery, Toddler, Preschool and Elementary activities in both the 9:15 and 11:15 services. Volunteers have been screened and trained in Plan to Protect procedures
Nursery Our Nursery program is set up for ages 0 to 18 months, and can be found in the southeast end of the lower floor. Parent caregivers are available to provide support for your child. A New Mother’s room (complete with changetable, couches and a live feed of the sermon) is located next to our nursery room.
Toddler Care Our Toddler room is located in the southeast end of the lower floor and welcomes children ages 18 months to 3 years old. Responsible caregivers are there to play with the children and provide a basic snack each morning.
Preschool Our Preschool room is located in the southwest end of the lower floor and is designed for children ages 3 to 5 years of age. Trained volunteers run a comprehensive program complete with skits, puppets, games, crafts, snack and songs.
Parents of children who regularly participate in our preschool ministry are encouraged to volunteer and lend support on a rotational basis.
Elementary Our Elementary Large Group room is located in the west end of the lower floor and welcomes children in grades 1 to 6. Children meet at the beginning of the service in the Large Group room for a skit or activity that is relevant to the faith story of the day. From there, the children are dismissed into their small groups where they continue to unpack the lessons learned in Large Group time. Children must be signed in by a parent at the Check In station and signed out by the same parent in the child’s small group room. (These rooms are located in the same hallway as the Large Group room)
Parents of children who regularly participate in our elementary ministry are encouraged to volunteer and lend support on a rotational basis.
Registration If you and your child are ready to call Central Baptist your home, we encourage you to fill out a family registration form. The information collected is kept confidential and is used to help us keep track of the children we are serving.
