Join us on Saturday, April 20th, at 7pm at our Sherwood Park site for an evening of worship. We will join together with those who are attending the Making Space Retreat and worship through a variety of different mediums including singing, prayer, and Scripture. Everyone is welcome to attend!

On Friday, April 19th, all youth will meet at Connors Hill for a great night together! We will be playing "Diamond Smugglers" which is an immersive game filled with excitement and intrigue! Can't wait! 

Youth Echelon, our Student Bible Study, is resuming!

Echelon is for students who want to dig deep. Echelon is open to all youth students but it is geared towards High School students. Echelon is a commitment based Bible study where students are expected to do homework, read scripture, have discussions and commit to weekly attendance.

We will meet on Wednesday evenings in the Youth Room at Connors Hill from 7-9pm starting April 10th. We will be studying the book of Acts using a great video teaching series by Louie Giglio. Check out the trailer video HERE!

Come join together with other ladies from Connors Hill to get some exercise and fellowship at the same time! This group is run by Laura Haan and Carlene St. Hilaire, meeting every other Wednesday. The purpose is to meet for a time to connect with other women from Connors Hill over coffee/tea and to pray for each other and the world around us. It meets one Saturday per month at 10am. In the spirit of togetherness and fostering connections within our church family, we're thrilled to announce a brand-new monthly event! On the second Friday evening of each month, beginning April 12th from 6-8:30pm, we'll be hosting a potluck for unmarried adults aged 30-43 (ish) from ALL THREE SITES. Don't worry if you're slightly outside this range – if you're 29 or 44, you're still more than welcome to join us!

This is a casual potluck gathering with no ongoing commitment or set menu. If you have specific dietary needs, please bring your own meal to enjoy among friends. This is an opportunity to come together, share a meal, engage in conversation, and build fellowship with others in our church community.

Join us on Easter Sunday, March 31st, as we celebrate that Jesus’ death was not the end of the story. He is alive! These services are a great opportunity to invite a friend to consider the good news of Jesus and life found in Him. Easter Sunday services will be held at 9am & 11am at Connors Hill, Southeast, and Sherwood Park. We will also have a hosted online service at 10am that will be available on demand after 12pm.

Please note that Kids Ministry for young children (age 0-preschool) will be offered on Easter Sunday.

Every year, at the Easter Service, we receive an offering for ministries outside of Central. This year, our offering will go towards Mission of Grace in Haiti where Kim O’Dwyer, a Central supported missionary, is currently serving, and also to Camp Falcon Rock in Romania. Please be praying about how the Lord may be asking you to participate! For those who do decide to give, please clearly designate your offering for Easter.

Worship with us on Good Friday, March 29th either in person or online as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Good Friday Services will be held at Connors Hill, Southeast, and Sherwood Park at 10:30am. There will also be a hosted online service at 10:30am which will then be available on demand starting at 12:30pm.

You are invited to join other women from Sherwood Park for an evening of bowling! This will be Thursday, March 21 at 7pm at the Bonnie Doon Lanes.

Join men from across our church in the pursuit of following Jesus at our Sexually Healthy Man Workshop.

This workshop, presented by Matt Cline, director of Restored Ministries, is designed to equip men to grow in purity, find victory over sexual temptation, and live a life that honours God and leads others in service. This workshop will be hosted at the Sherwood Park site on Friday, March 15th at 7pm. It is open to the public, so please invite your friends who may benefit from this opportunity especially if they are without a church family of their own. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. Jeremy Zittlau, a Central young adult, has recently been accepted for a 7-month structural engineering internship in Cambodia with Engineering Ministries International (EMI). EMI is a non-profit Christian organization that offers engineering and architecture services to missions in over 90 developing nations.

In June, Jeremy will join the local EMI team in Cambodia and put his engineering degree to work for God’s Kingdom. As a structural engineer with EMI, he will design foundations, beams, columns and other components for ministry buildings in Phnom Penh and around Cambodia.

The Pre-Marriage course is a series of 5 sessions designed to help couples build strong foundations for their future by equipping them with the attitudes and practical skills they will need to help keep their relationship strong. Each session consists of a video on a specific topic and time for private conversations as a couple. The Pre-Marriage course is for couples who are exploring marriage or those who are already engaged.

The course is scheduled to start on Monday, March 11th from 6:30-9:00pm at Connors Hill. Additional sessions will be on March 18th (7-9:30pm), March 25th (7-9:30pm), April 1st (7-9:30pm) and April 8th (6:30-9pm). A meal will be served on the first and last sessions. Please note we will meet half an hour earlier on those evenings.

REGISTRATION OPENS on Sunday, February 18th at 1pm, is limited to 20 couples and costs $75. If you would like to attend but finances are an issue, please let us know. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 6th.

Safe Families surrounds families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. They are a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, they temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet. God has been growing this ministry in Edmonton, and Safe Families invites you to come learn more about this ministry and how to support them on Saturday, March 9th at 7pm at our Southeast site.
