God loves you completely! Today!

God loves you completely!  Today!

Not when we become “more spiritual”,...
Not when we are more like someone we think is better than us,...
Not when we “stop sinning”….

He loves us as we are!  The Bible tells us:

2017 11 10 - Womens Ministries - Romans 5

Incredible!!!

May you be encouraged by knowing that God loves you that much, and may it spur you on to seeking Him more and more.

It was such a huge blessing to meet together with those who were able to come out last Thursday to Central @ Southeast!  (I am very sorry if any of you got lost finding the location because of the incorrect address I had.  The correct address is 4357 Savaryn Drive.)

We pray that everyone always feels welcome and knows that we want you to be a part of this if that is something you also desire and are able to …. We are all in this journey together, and can grow as we learn from Jesus and each other.

Digging Deeper:

We want to make resources available to you if you want to dig in deeper into what we learn at our meetings.  Here are some resources that might be helpful:

Space for God Resource (from October 19th meeting): If you would like to receive a weekly e-mail edition of Space for God or know of someone who would, you can send an e-mail to [email protected] and request to be subscribed to Space for God.  It is a free resource.  To find out more about Space for God, go to: http://pacificdistrict.ca/space-for-god/

Opportunities:

Mom’s Prayer Group: Edee Miazga and Naty Chacon are starting a group of moms with a desire to pray together for children both young and old!  The first meeting is on Friday, October 27th from 1-2:30 pm at Connors Hill.  For more information, contact Edee at [email protected]

Small Group: There have been a couple of requests for a small group for women.  If you are sensing that this may be a way God is directing you to serve, please contact us and we can pass it on to Logan Henry (or you can talk to him directly) .

“Finish your Project” weekend: November 17th & 18th.  We thought it would be a great opportunity for us to get to know one another and get some of those uncompleted projects done by having a “finish your project weekend” on a Friday evening and Saturday.  It will be very low key:

When & Where: November 17th evening and November 18th all day at Central @ Southeast

What:    Full details to be firmed up soon but this is what we know so far:

    • You bring what you want to work on
    • You can use a table and set up your work, and leave it up for the whole time (no need to clean up until the end)
    • You can come and go as you please
    • A small fee (details to be worked out yet) will cover the cost of some beverages and snacks (thinking healthy, and some not-so) that will be available for all.
    • You bring your own meals or any special food you would like
    • We will need people to RSVP but we need to figure out how best to do this yet.

If you are interested in this, find out more in upcoming women’s ministries e-mails.

Next Time:

On November 16th at 7 PM we will be meeting at Central @ Connors Hill.  We will be learning about Bible Journaling, which is a creative way to interact with God and His Word.  It can take many different forms from writing words in a journal or highlighting scripture in different colours but so much more including tracing line art and colouring, and even designing your own artwork. It really is a personal preference and a how-is-God-leading -you type of experience. Come and see what it’s all about, try it out, and maybe this will be a new way for you to enjoy God’s word and learn from Him! Supplies will be provided, but if you have favourite colouring pencils/pens, please feel free to bring them.

Please RSVP if you plan to come on November 16th so we have enough supplies and tables ready.

Blessings!

Vickie for the women's ministry team
