CENTRAL WOMEN

The heart of women's ministry at Central is to create opportunities for women from across the generations to have meaningful connections, build relationships, and to disciple, mentor, and encourage each other in our faith journeys. Our shared desire is to follow Jesus together, growing in worship, deepening in community, and moving on mission. This ministry is led by women of the congregation for women of the congregation and occurs through various small group opportunities and large group events.

Central Women has different expressions at each of our three sites. Please sign up for email updates below to stay informed about all that is happening at the site you attend, and fill out the interest form so we can reach out to you and get you connected.

Connors Hill | Central Women Walking Group

Come join together with other ladies from Connors Hill to get some exercise and fellowship at the same time! This group is run by Laura Haan and Carlene St. Hilaire, meeting every other Wednesday. This month’s meetings will be May 1st, 15th, and 29th at 7pm. If the weather is nice, we’ll meet outside! If you plan on attending, please email Laura.

Connors Hill | Women's Connection and Prayer Group

Connors Hill | Women's Connection and Prayer Group

You are invited to a morning of connection and prayer. The purpose is to meet for a time to connect with other women from Connors Hill over coffee/tea and to pray for each other and the world around us. It meets one Saturday per month at 10am. Bonnie Schwalfenberg leads this group; please email her for more information and to let her know if you plan to attend an upcoming date. There is no need to commit to every session - come when you can, and feel free to invite a friend!

This month’s meeting will be Saturday, May 4 at 10am in Bonnie’s home.

Join us in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill on Saturday, May 4th and Saturday, May 18th from 10am to 1pm for the Connors Hill Central Women Art Group. Bring any art or craft project you are working on and share in fellowship as you do art together! Children are also welcome! This group is run by Steph Dalmer and Joy Pedersen. Please email Joy or Steph for more information and for future dates if interested.

Sherwood Park | Women's Spring Picnic

Sherwood Park | Women's Spring Picnic

If you are a women attending our Sherwood Park site, you are invited to a Women’s Spring Picnic on Sunday, May 26th from 4-6pm. Come enjoy food, fellowship, and the spring weather!

If the weather is nice we will have our picnic in the backyard of the church. If not we will picnic inside. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. The church will provide sandwiches and drinks. We ask attendees to sign up to bring a salad or a dessert. Please RSVP HERE by May 21st.
